8-Hour Offshore Fishing Trip

The 8-hour offshore trip is ideal for anglers who want more time to fish once you get out in the Gulf. This trip gives you the breathing room to go farther offshore, spend longer at productive spots, and really settle into the rhythm of Gulf fishing.

We depart around 7:00 a.m. and head offshore, trolling on the way out. Once we get to deeper water, with extra time built in, we’re able to fish longer at multiple bottom spots, adjust based on conditions, and maximize your chances of a solid catch.

This is our most commonly recommended trip for guests who truly want to fish — not rush.

What You’ll Be Fishing For

Target species depend on the season and current regulations, but commonly include:

  • Red snapper (when open)

  • Vermilion snapper (a.k.a. mingos / beeliners)

  • Triggerfish (when open)

  • Other reef species that are in season and biting

We’ll troll on the way out and back with several lines in the water. When a fish hits, one person reels it in — it’s always exciting when you hear “fish on.” Typical trolling catches include Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, and jack crevalle.

Pricing & Booking

  • $2,800 for up to 10 people

  • $280 per additional person

  • Maximum capacity: up to 23 passengers

A $500 deposit is required to reserve your date.
The remaining balance is due the day of the trip.

If you don’t know your final headcount yet — that’s completely fine. We’ll do a headcount on the day of the trip.

Deckhand gratuity is not included. A typical tip is around 20%, assuming Brannon does a good job.
