6-Hour Offshore Fishing Trip

Book Now

Our 6-hour offshore trip is the perfect introduction to Gulf fishing and one of our most popular options for families, groups, and first-timers. This trip delivers the full offshore experience without committing to a full day on the water — plenty of fishing, plenty of fun, and no rushing.

We’ll troll our way offshore (often 15–20 miles out) until we lose sight of land, then spend a couple of solid hours bottom fishing, so lines are in the water for most of the trip. You’ll get a true taste of offshore fishing while still having time to relax, enjoy the ride, and take in the Gulf.

Morning & Afternoon Options

  • Morning Trip: Departs around 6:30 a.m.

  • Afternoon Trip: Departs around 2:00 p.m.

Departure times are flexible during the offseason and shorter daylight months.

What You’ll Be Fishing For

What we target depends on what’s in season and biting, but typical catches include:

  • Red snapper (when open)

  • Vermilion snapper (a.k.a. mingos / beeliners)

  • Triggerfish (when open)

  • And other seasonal reef species

On the way out and back, we’ll also troll with multiple lines in the water. When a fish hits, you’ll hear “fish on,” and one person reels it in. Common trolling catches include Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, and jack crevalle — trolling can be hit or miss, but it’s always exciting when it happens.

Your deckhand handles everything while fishing: rigging rods, cutting bait, de-hooking fish, and keeping things moving smoothly.
